About

Live Oak Kids was founded by Maggie O'Reilly, MOT, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist. We offer home based, outdoor, and community based OT services as well as outdoor developmental nature playgroups for children ages 0-5.  We are based in the East Bay, CA.

At Live Oak Kids, we address developmental areas that tend to be overlooked in the public school and medical settings, yet are so important for overall development and children's mental health. These areas include outdoor/nature play, moving to learn (and learning to move), sensory integration and functional oculomotor/vision skills (to inform reading, handwriting, attention, self-regulation and social skills). Live Oak Kids aims to fill in these gaps and grow strong foundational roots for happy, engaged and resilient children.

For Occupational Therapy services we primarily serve families living in the following cities:

Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Pinole, Richmond, San Leandro, and San Pablo.
