Forest Friends Summer Camp is an inclusive nature based summer camp designed to foster nature connection, social emotional growth and sensory regulation, through open ended play and facilitated games and activities.
We meet at an accessible location in Joaquin Miller Park for easy drop off, and then head into the woods to our home base. Each day will follow a simple routine that is balanced with natural rhythms, group interests and child lead nature play !

Our specialized curriculum designed by an occupational therapist integrates interoceptive awareness, sensory and social play with exploration and nature play, empowering children to engage and enJOY !

Groups are limited to 6-7 children
with 1:3 camper/staff ratio

"If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in." ~Rachel Carson

LOKi acknowledges that we gather on the traditional and contemporary lands of the Lisjan Ohlone and other Indigenous peoples. For thousands of years, hundreds of generations, the Lisjan Ohlone people have lived on the land that is now known as the East Bay in the San Francisco Bay Area. "We did not own the land, we belonged to it."
